Wim Mertens - Maximizing The Audience
This record makes with you what it says the title, you maximizes to listen to it. Discovered in the 80'S, precisely with this album, the record was published in 1984. Wim Mertens has also become part of my life. New Age, and for me the best of this movement. Begin to hear the album directly by the theme 3.

Wim Mertens -Struggle for Pleasure
Record published in 1983, prior to Maximizing... The albums of Wim Mertens are all good, but there are some that emphasized, as Struggle For Pleasure. Full of sensitivity, a piano leaving sound arpeggios thet only Wim Mertens can do. I think this record is indispensable.

Wim Mertens - After Virtue
Album appeared in 1988. When Jose Luis Sola let me listen the first theme in one of our hearings, I was fascinated. A piano shelling a crescendo something outside of the style of Wim Mertens. Highly recommended.

Philip Glass - Glassworks
1982. With an style that it would maintain in his next work, The Photographer, Philip Glass leads by trails in which the slight crescendo of the music raises us. Not as good as The Photographer, but almost.

Philip Glass - The Photographer

Philip Glass - Songs From Liquid Days
1986. Philip Glass are entering to the world of the composition of songs that, as himself says: "Songs are perhaps the most basic musical expression". He calls the collaboration on this record, nothing less than: David Byrne, Paul Simon, Suzanne Vega and Laurie Anderson. Responsible these to compose letters and Glass music. The result is music New Age riding as songs. Magnificent.

Penguin Cafe Orchestra - Broadcasting From Home
1984. This is the first album that I had in my hands of the Penguin Cafe Orchestra. A delight. Music without time and style. Folk, Classic, Jazz, anything of Rock. The first theme is a song irish traditional instrumental theme. I was openmouthed in a pub in Ireland when I listened it in the bar taking a Guinness.

Music From The Penguin Cafe
Second disk that I bought myself in the 80's of The Penguin Cafe Orchestra, although the album is from 1976. When the music begins you will find that you are hearing the violin of David Cross in Lark's Tongues in Aspic Part One.

Penguin Cafe Orchestra - Sings Of Life
1987. I have been listening records of the Penguin Cafe Orchestra since I discovered them in the 80'S. Their music is difficult to define. Is between irish traditional roots, the classical music, and sometimes influences of Jazz. I can only say that this disc is delicious. The classified within the movement of music cultured in those years, called New Age. Japanese Edition remastered in 2009.
