It is called Krautrock or Kraut Rock (also known as Kosmische Musik) and a current musical of experimental rock originated in West Germany at the end of the 1960's. The term, originally derogatory (Kraut means cabbage in german and was one of the nicknames that they were given to the germans during the world wars as a typical german plate is the cabbage in brine or "Sauerkraut" better known as choucroute), is used to refer to a large amount of german artists who had been influenced by genres such as the psychedelic rock, the progressive rock, the music avant-garde, rhythm and blues and jazz, using new technologies and new ways to use the technologies for recording, amplification and mixing musical, with new formal structures. The krautrock is sometimes considered a subgenus of progressive rock

Faust is a German group of rock music that is considered one of the most important of the movement krautrock.
The band was formed in the year 1971 with the help of the producer and journalist Uwe Nettelbeck and separated in 1975 after editing four albums of study, but it was reconvened to make some live in the early 1990S, after which the group released three albums with new material. The group also released two albums together to minimalist composer Tony Conrad, who also worked in the recording of the first album of the group.
Faust is considered an important influence in the ambient music and the music industry. The group did not too commercial success, although its LP The Faust Tapes was sold to the price of a single in the United Kingdom, drawing the attention of the media and selling a significant amount of copies. |

Kraftwerk ("Energy power' in german) is a musical group german avant-garde decisive for the development of electronic music.
The techniques and musical instruments introduced by them are basic today, however, were truly innovative in its time. By the experiments carried out and by constitute the basis on which then settled the gender, are regarded as the parents of the electronic music, since they were the first to play music based entirely on the use of electronic instruments.
