It's A Beautiful Day - At Carnegie Hall

This is an excellent live album with great peformances throughout. The three big hits from the first album, Hot Summer Day, Bombay Calling and White Bird are all stretched out to greater than 8 minutes each. But, even the shorter songs have interesting jamming interludes. All the members of the bands take turns giving some impressive moments.

Lunatic Soul

I was many days tempted to buy a CD of this band in the catalog of Tonefloat, and yesterday Jose Luis Sola let me listen one theme in our listening session. As other groups that little by little we are incorporating (see below), this is the new progressive. Some of the 70, 90, 2000..., even perhaps New Age. Highly recommended.

Mixture of progressive rock and ambient electronic sounds. A music that it is felt to be made in this century. To guide I would say that I have found elements of Porcupine Tree, but especially of no-man. I thought it was very good on a first listening.

The most ambitious progressive album ever made in Spain. The group Los Canarios, with Teddy Bautista to the front, adapted nothing more and nothing less than The Four Seasons of Vivaldi. Opeth - Watershed

I have four albums of Opeth. Although it is not a style that I like to a 100% it has passages very good between the Dev Metal and guttural sounds that they practice. The first song in this album, Coil, is a genuine wonder. It is his latest work published in 2008. Steven Wilson was the producer of its previous album Damnation, which will also publish here.
